What we collect

When you use Khuluma we may collect the following information:

  • Your email address, provided when you request your report to be emailed to you.
  • Details about your dismissal that you enter during the assessment — such as the type of dismissal, dates, and circumstances you choose to share.
  • Payment information processed by Paystack when you purchase a full report. We never see or store your card details — Paystack handles all payment processing.

How we use your information

  • To generate your personalised legal assessment report.
  • To email your report to you via Resend, our email delivery provider.
  • To process your payment via Paystack.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your information for marketing without your consent.

AI processing

The details you enter during your assessment are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate your report. Anthropic processes this data solely to produce the response — no data is stored by Anthropic beyond the immediate request and response cycle. You can read more at anthropic.com/privacy.

Where your data is stored

Your assessment answers are stored in your browser only (localStorage). They are cleared when you start a new assessment and are never sent to our servers beyond what is needed to generate your report. We do not maintain a database of your assessment responses after your report has been produced.

Third-party services

  • Paystack — processes payments. Subject to Paystack's own privacy policy.
  • Resend — delivers your report by email. Subject to Resend's own privacy policy.
  • Anthropic — powers the AI report generation. Subject to Anthropic's own privacy policy.
  • Vercel — hosts this application. Subject to Vercel's own privacy policy.

Your rights under POPIA

This service is governed by the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). You have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, and to request that it be corrected or deleted. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
